Kitchen Retainer: $500.00
Small Bath Retainer: $250.00
Master Bath Retainer: $500.00

Decorating Services
Window treatments, paint colors, space planning, layout... I can help with
any decorating needs.
Decorating Retainer: $250.00/room
Shopping Trips: $250.00/day


Project Management
Project management fees vary depending on the scope of the project and
cover an estimated amount of time that the designer will be coordinating a
project. Services include, but are not limited to:
  • Shopping trips (normally $250 each)
  • Purchase orders
  • Detail drawings as necessary to convey design intent to home   
    owners and installer(s)
  • Appliance/materials research, estimates, and recommendations
  • Meetings with home owner as necessary to finalize choices/finishes
  • Meetings with cabinet maker  to verify that cabinetry is being built to
    specifications
  • Meetings with contractor/installers
  • Manage timeline to keep purchases and installation on track and
    finished in a timely manner
  • Overall management during remodel/installations to verify that
    everything is to specifications and of quality workmanship

Hourly Fees
$65.00 per hour

Payment
Retainer fees are due in full when measurements are taken. Project fees
are payable in quarter increments. First payment is due at beginning of
project coordination and so forth.
At this time, design essentials is not equipped to take credit card
payments, therefore payments will need to be made by check or cash.
What are retainers?
Retainer fees are non-refundable charges that cover the cost of time and
services when starting up a project. Services included in these charges are
initial consultations, measuring, space planning and layout,
appliance/materials specifications research, floor plan drawings, and
elevation drawings.
