About Design Essentials

Design Essentials is me, Katy Salyer.  I have my Bachelor's Degree in
Interior Design from East Tennessee State University. I started
kitchen design while working for Expo Design Center, Laguna Niguel,
CA as a Kitchen Designer.
Once my husband and I decided to start a family, I worked part time for a
while; but then decided to take time off from work and "just be a mom".
A couple years later, a second baby, and a move to Tullahoma, TN...  I
decided to start up my own business.
As all things in life, this has been a learning experience. I'm not perfect,
and lean on God a lot. But I will strive to be excellent at my profession
and exceed your expectations.
